Lagoa
Welcome to Lagoa, the turquoise sea framed by ocher cliffs and soft sand beaches.
Bunches of grapes ripening in the hot summer sun.
The shapes, the colors, the designs of a pottery with centuries-old origins. Attractions of Lagoa and its municipality complemented by the colorful fishing port of Ferragudo, the romantic chapel of Nossa Senhora da Rocha, overlooking the sea and the fantastic rocks of Algar Seco. It is in a Lagoa that you can find the famous Benagil Cave. But can I tell you a secret? It is better to make a list of everything that is not to be missed in this municipality!
Benagil is the most famous cave, but in addition to the cave you have the option to know the route of the 7 suspended valleys, a trail where you can visit this cave from the top, and in addition to this the famous beaches between Praia da Marinha and Centeanes valleys, but you will also see those more “secret”.
The path is well signposted. It is approximately 5,4 km over cliffs with signposts passing through 9 beaches
